The Neighbourly app (published by Neighbourly on Google Play, package com.neighbourlybox.app) allows you to request full deletion of your account and associated data at any time. This page explains the steps to follow and what happens to your data.
Only the owner of the email address linked to the account can initiate deletion, ensuring no one else can delete your account.
When you confirm account deletion, the following data is permanently removed from our servers:

| Smart Box ownership and share tokens | Deleted |
| Household (if you are the sole member) | Deleted |
| Household (if other members remain) | Retained — ownership transfers to another member |
Account deletion is processed immediately upon confirmation. All data listed above as "Deleted" is removed from our production database right away. Residual copies in encrypted server backups are purged within 30 days.
No personal data is retained after this period.
